For IndieWire I talked with the filmmakers behind the rebellious Afrofuturist musical odyssey “Neptune Frost.” This interview includes words from co-directors Saul Williams and Anisia Uzeyman and designer Cedric Mizero. We talked about location scouting, the political and artistic roots behind their groundbreaking vision, and lighting Black skin.
